Our mission, as part of the Columbia County Recreation Department, is to offer quality customer service to the citizens of Columbia County by striving to enrich their lives by providing opportunities through programs and activities during their leisure time.
 
Trails are open sunrise to sunset, 7 days a week. A map is posted on the front door of the education building.
 
 
Birthday Parties for Children ages 5 and Up: Does your child enjoy nature and the outdoors? Then sign up for a birthday party at Reed Creek Nature Park and Interpretive Center. Pollution Solution
This program includes hands-on activities demonstrating the various types of pollution and their causes and effects. We'll discuss possible solutions and recognize ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle. For ages 5 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required by calling 706-210-4027 or email ehobbs@columbiacountyga.gov. Members: free; non-members: $2/child.

Seashells by the Seashore
Do you have shells that you've collected from the beach this summer? Join us for a seashell identification class. Bring your shells, and we'll identify and discuss what animals used to live in those shells. For ages 5 & up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
