The Home Depot has launched a Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb (CFL) collection program. Customers may take expired, unbroken bulbs to the Customer Service Desk of their local Home Depot for disposal.

For security purposes, it is advised to remove the hard drive from your computer before disposing of it. Columbia County assumes no responsibility for items dropped off at these locations.
Accepted Items include: Answering machines, CD/CDRW/DVD drives, calculators, camcorders, cameras, cell phones, computers and laptops (Hard drives SHOULD be removed from computers prior to drop-off), DVD players, electronic game consoles, fax machines, floppy and zip drives, microwave ovens ($5 per unit), monitors, printers, scanners, pagers, phones (corded and cordless), pocket PC’s, routers, servers, stereos, televisions ($10 per set - cash only) and VCR’s
