The Deputy County Administrator works closely with the County Administrator to carry out the Board of Commissioners' priorities and assumes the Administrator's role in his absence.  Duties of the Deputy County Administrator include:  assisting in the development and administration of operating and capital budgets; suggesting policy recommendations for the County Board; recommending new management approaches and strategies while developing more effective methods of delivering county services; assisting in the economic development process and overseeing the countywide internal audit.  In addition, the Deputy County Administrator provides direct departmental leadership to:

• Code Enforcement
• Human Resources (HR)
• Information Technology (IT)
• Training
