The Columbia County Animal Services department is committed to our goal of providing quality care for all animals in Columbia County. We have worked hard to establish long lasting and progressive relationships with our partners in the non-profit animal rescue field. In an effort to assist our local rescue partners we are now collecting applications to foster pets from the Columbia County Animal Services department. The Animal Services department will not be the group in-charge of fosters, but will supply this information to our animal rescue partners who have the need for quality foster homes to temporarily house an animal before it can be adopted to a forever home. If a rescue group is interested in your application – they will contact you concerning this application.
Please provide the following information that will aid a local non-profit rescue in coordinating a temporary home for a shelter pet.
As Columbia County Animal Services is only acting as a party collecting information to be obtained by local rescue groups who are in need of foster homes, the rescue group that contacts you may need to collect additional information and have you sign their agreement to foster a pet for them.
By submitting this form, you are allowing Columbia County Animal Services – a local county government department to freely release this information to any rescue group that requests this information without requesting the information through the Freedom of Information Act.
