More… The Columbia County Animal Services department encourages all livestock owners in the county to voluntarily register their livestock with the Animal Services department. The biggest benefit of this service is that our staff can contact you if your livestock ever leaves your property. Our Animal Services personnel can contact you to advise you that your livestock is out and the last known location. Also - in addition to being able to contact you if your livestock gets loose, you will have the opportunity to collect your animals before they are transported to the shelter, saving you time and money for the impoundment and boarding fees.
